The Marshes
Joined up with Team Pain Train last night to run the 'Marshes'. I have said since the first time I did this workout that it is my favorite Rogue workout. Basically the goal of the workout is to learn to recover uphill and to switch between fast and slow pace. It is a hard workout. Hard. And each time I do it I wonder to myself, 'why do I think this is my favorite workout?'.
I guess the answer is exactly why I complain about it: it is hard. If given the opportunity to slack off during a workout, I'll take it. And that is not an option for this one. You run hard. And you hurt when you finish. And sometimes you hurt the next day. You breathe hard when you get to the top. You curse your coach the whole time.
I think I am a glutton for punishment and the Marshes always punishes me.
